For 75-years, O's Tap, the little bar on Western Avenue, a neighbor of Margie’s Candies stayed much the same as the neighborhood changed around it. Now, Logan Square Preservation celebrates O’s Tap, 2044 N Western Avenue, with a neighborhood meetup on Thursday, July 25, from 6-9 p.m. Come see the original bar and tin ceiling and the brand-new expanded back patio (complete with a Koi fish pond). Learn the history, and what the O really stands for. Snacks will be served, beer and handshakes will flow, and neighborhood news will be dished. It’s all free, but space is limited so registration is required.
